Do you know someone who has been diagnosed with Cancer?
My journal will give insight into a cancer patient's thoughts and feelings.
With a helpful glossary of treatments and medical procedures, you should have everything you need.
After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September 2022, I felt my world come crashing down. Everything that I thought I knew changed overnight.
There is no way to possibly describe how it feels when you are told the words 'you have cancer'.
You immediately think that you have been handed a death sentence, but in most cases, this is not true.
I found that despite friends telling me that they would be there for me because they didn’t know how to treat me as my body fought for its life, they gradually distanced themselves, which ended with us never speaking again. Being alienated by those I felt I could rely on hurt me more than being told of my diagnosis.
I have written this book to help friends and family of those who have been told the devastating news that they have cancer to understand the mental torture that goes on unseen. If this book helps just one person, it makes the time and effort it has taken to write worth it.
Please don't ignore someone you know who has just been told they have the big 'C'.
Your friendship can help save a life, believe me!
